The Tube is a knitted piece using eight skeins of yarn to produce a flexible cover for the human body. It is a single piece of uniform diameter but is form-fitting, moving directly with the wearer’s motions. The soft shell keeps the body warm and comfortable yet slightly restrained. Here, as with "nests" and "Rumpleskillskid", a single flexible line is manipulated into a plane, and furthermore into a spatial envelope or shell to inhabit.
